Seth and I drove down to Oklahoma to pick up the kids from Grandpa and Grandma's house. They all had a wonderful month together, and now it was time to get back home. The drive back with a four and almost two year old was not as bad as I was expecting. I sat in the back between them for most of the way which kept the peace. I think I played "This Little
Piggie" with Maggie about 85 times, but it kept the screaming down so it was well worth it.
Before we left
Oklahoma we made a quick trip to the Tulsa Zoo. Thanks Grandma for the tickets! Ben is petting a
bearded dragon after we learned about reptiles.
This is Oscar. He was around when Seth was a little kid.
We found Grandma's title.
Maggie loved the petting zoo. I think she was laughing at the goat.
They also loved the
carousel, what a surprise that Ben picked the elephant:)
And the zoo trip couldn't be complete without riding the train.
Also, before we left OK, a little bird had built a nest in one of my mom's hanging planters on our front porch. We were so lucky to see one of the birds hatch the day before we left. This picture does not do it justice, it was the tiniest most amazing thing ever.
And now we are enjoying the amazing Idaho summer weather and eating fresh peas and carrots from the garden.

I cannot believe how big Maggie is! So cute! So the kids were gone for a full month? How was that?
Wow! A whole month off? What awesome grandparents. :) The zoo looks like fun. We need to take the kids to the one here again, haven't been in almost a year.
Your kids are both growing so fast! Cute pics! Congrats on your month off! FUN!
